Pactto, coaching reinvented
Hello there, my name is Demian Borba, and I’m happy to share that, after months and months of hard work and tons of validation sessions, we are officially launching Pactto, a brand new platform for coaches and clients worldwide.
As CEO and founder, I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to build Pactto, and for the great people behind this journey, founders, developers, designers, family, friends, marketing, early adopters, and our beloved customers.
How did we get here?
Today, coaches have no easy way to review performances. They have to be creative and build workarounds by mixing different services and tools.
Onsite coaching is inefficient.
- Students absorb only a tiny portion of what a coach shares live onsite, and unfortunately, they can’t review the information later.
For instance, during our research, I witnessed many onsite reviews performed at the beach after a great session of surfing, but because the client was tired and hungry, a lot of the amazing data shared by the coach was simply lost. - Coaches spend valuable time doing busy work: filming, editing, finding references, scheduling meetings, negotiating rates, charging parents and clients.
Ideally, coaches should be investing their knowledge and energy towards coaching, period. - Coaches have a hard time making their students see the same picture.
A picture is worth a thousand words, a video analysis is probably worth a thousand onsite sessions.
Remote coaching is full of friction.
- Text as the primary feedback mechanism is burdensome, and students struggle to process and retain feedback.
- Zoom calls face latency, and its tools were not initially made for precise video analysis.
- Coaches currently lack the tools that drive efficacy in a remote/asynchronous setting.
- Remote coaching requires places the burden on coaches and students to string together various systems.

We created Pactto with the critical purpose of giving back to the world. And thanks to our Pactto coaches and clients, we were able to start. Our first quarterly #impactto initiative will happen in a Brazilian slum in Maceio Alagoas, right before Christmas. We will help more than 20 families and their kids with food, Christmas gifts, and a ton of love. We can’t wait to create more and more impact, but for now, thank you!
